I'm buying into an argument that is none of my business, but what the hell, I guess that's what this board is for!

My two cents' worth - I enjoy Mardhi's updates on Guess Bar, in particular the regular photo posts of the talent at Guess.

Mardhi's affiliation with the bar is well-known on the board, and personally I don't give a shit if he owns it, doesn't own it or whatever.

I would equally welcome posts from owners or friends of the gogos in Nana Plaza and Patpong, but since the owners of Cascade, Obsessions, KCIII etc don't feel the need to advertise on the board, then so be it.

Personally with the figurative demise of ATS - yeah, I know the site is still online but it's currently just recycling old material - I welcome any sort of update on the bars in BKK.

Can't we all just try and get along???

Interesting to see that we've gotten back onto this topic again.

No one has ever questioned Mardhi's contribution to this board. His updates on the Guess bar are appreciated by all, especially by those of us who have visited the bar or intend on visiting the bar in the near future.

Guydesavoy, I thought it was a reasonable question as well but obviously not appreciated by Mardhi who dodged the question rather than hit it on the head.

As for my reasoning behind asking this question originally (it wasn't to cause a shit-fight): when anyone says anything that places the Guess bar in a negative light, Mardhi always counters that argument, never allowing the bar to accept any blame for whatever is going wrong. For example, in the original post in this thread the BM mentioned Jay never turning up to work and Ex only hanging about for a very short time every night. Rather than address these issues Mardhi blames the economy and then focuses on what the bar is doing to turn things around. I personally found his statements puzzling because he appears to take any negative comments about the bar personally and won't accept any criticisms.
As I said before, my original question isn't an attack on the Guess Bar (been there numerous times and love the bar and its unique atmos) or at Mardhi but rather a question about why he is so one-eyed about this bar?
