There is the short short time and the long short time back to your Hotel. As soon as ones Hotel is mentioned the price jumps for a greenhorn as a rule as they have the 200 metre taxi journey to worry about and no kickback from ST room etc etc

Hello Mikael, welcome to the forum.

You want to know the going rate for a ST at Guess Bar, you do realise that there isn't a fixed price. The girls will always try to get what they can & heaven help you if you sound confused & come across as a first-timer. Their instincts are set to extract the maximum they can.

If you have been negotiating your way around Nana for the past 18 years, you know all you need to negotiate a price that both parties can agree upon. Opening gambits such as "I want 4000 for a ST" are usually just thrown out to test the waters. How can the girls ever score a big payday with a newbie if they don't ask?

And if they won't budge from a ridiculously high figure, recognise that she doesn't find the prospect of doing the nasty with you that appealing. They will sleep with anyone if the money is there but old, unattractive farangs cannot expect to pay the same as a young fit guy. Your price & my price is somewhere in between, it will depend on our manners & how much the girl needs a barfine.  

So walk away if a girl persists in asking for silly money. And do not try to knock her price down in the middle of the bar with all the other girls within earshot.  They will all know what is happening because she will be communicating with the other girls what you are saying. Keep asking her for a 500 baht ST & none of the girls will touch you with a barge pole. Insult one & you insult all. They have a lot of pride these Guess girls. Asian face & you know what happens if you cause them to lose it.

I am always amused by this question of what should be paid. It makes me think that you have been paying too much previously. And if that is the case, then why? It is analogous to asking your doctor if you are going to have a heart attack. If you are old & fat, then chances are better that you will. If you are young & slim then you are much less likely. Who do you think the girls want to go with?  

You don't miss out on too many girls in LOS just because you aren't a spunky guy. Once you pay the seniors tax & the ugly guys tax, they will give you a terrific GFE. We are not all oil paintings here on the forum, some of the guys who have written about their success in LOS simply wouldn't get a date with a beautiful girl back home so don't worry about asking. But if you were a 20-something athlete, you wouldn't have the need to ask.  Don't worry, you are among friends & we have all been there.

Thanks pacman for your detailed reply. As I said I am new to LB scene but by no means I am a newbie in Thailand. The reason I asked the questions was that in the past I have learned a lot from the experiences of other people who have contributed to some other forums which I have followed during past 18 years or so. The forums I have followed have been mainly oriented towards ladies not LBs though.

I do realize that there is no fixed price but, at least in those other forums, people talk about going prices as an average but every one knows that many other factors are also involved in setting the price. This was the reason I asked the question because I did not want to insult anyone by asking a ridiculously low price but I do not want either to feel that I have been ripped off because some one has taken me for a ride as a newbie to the scene.  

Anyhow, I am not too worried about this. I will learn my lessons and at the end of the day a couple of thousands Baht more or less does not have any effect in our lives.

Mikael Hi, Welcome to the forum. Its a great & very helpful place. One of the weird things is that rates can be a reserved giving. I have only been to Los twice. In a nutshell I find and this is with what I would regard as hi grade beauties from Cascades & Obsessions & of course the lovely Guess girls ST 2,000 & LT 3,000 in BKK. In Pattaya the Pook bars which I regard as amongst the best ST 1,500 & LT 2,500. Now I am 54 medium weight not greying clean shaved and most importantly treat them with the utmost respect. Open doors, be cool wait & smile whilst their id is grabbed at reception. If LT have breakfast with them in the morning, I love watching the other Farangs oggling them when their wives look away.

Try this & maybe work 500 either way for my formula & you wont go wrong. Other guys the hardened ones will say I am spoiling them but when you only get 10 days in heaven a year at those prices compared to home its fantastic & they will be at you beg & call. The market is much harder for them & I am sure they will accept less. Its your punt make it a good one & most importantly enjoy. LB,s are really great fun & an even better shag!

Thanks Bobcat. I agree with your comments. Actually I took out one girl from Guess Bar and she was great fun.  The price was along the lines you mentioned so everything is fine. I will go back for sure.

I'm surprised how many guys ask the girls how much they would like upfront , of course they will push the price up they'd be stupid not to .

Don't forget you have just asked them how much would they like/want , this then opens up a process of haggling which I find embarrassing I'm sure others do too .

Just say to them xxxbaht ok for short time ?

You should have a set price in your mind that is fair .

One tip though if you are gonna take more than one girl from the same bar always pay the same rate to everyone .

Thanks for the tip Jim regarding taking more than one girl from same bar. Actually I was thinking about this but not much about the price but how to do it! This is what happened the other day

After I took one of the girls from the Guess Bar I went back the day after and actually I was thinking about taking out another girl but as soon as I sat there the girl from last night came and sat with me and start chatting. I thought it might be embarrassing to say that I want to take out another one so after a couple of beers I left the bar and went to Cascade and barfined  a girl there.

So I wonder how do you guys handle a situation like this?

It's your time and money, and everyone is attracted to different people. Buy the girl that came up to you a drink and say you like her friend. She will most likely call her over and your on your own after that.

I am probably in the minority but I did not like the airline hostess outfits - I thought they made the girls look like the puppets from the Thunderbirds!

As best I can ascertain this is the current daily 'schedule' of uniforms, however Jenny was saying she wants to tweak some especially the older one's. That includes the air hostess outfit as she does not like it LOL.

Monday - black dress
Tuesday - Red dress
Wednesday - University
Thursday - Maroon colour (for lack of a better description)
Friday - Blue dress
Saturday - Black dress
Sunday - Blue dress (phasing out the air hostess uniform)

There is also likely to be a cowboy outfit coming in on one day of the week, but its not known which day it will be yet.

That is as much as I know for the moment.
