Lan Kwai Fong is a good spot, a bunch of pubs. Go early for Happy Hour prices.

Buy the girls a book on Hong Kong that is written in Thai. There is a good Thai restaurant near The Wanch, and another one near Stanley Market.

I took a Thai girl there once and we had a blast. Only thing she did not like was the food. It was amazing to see her transform from a confident Thai girl to a curious, unsure and anxious Thai girl the moment the plane landed. She really liked the Star Ferry crossing from Kowloon to Central, as well as the #6 bus to Stanley Market, great views. Sit on the top in the front.

Get Octopus Cards for riding the buses and subways. One per person. You pay a LOT less if you use them instead of cash. The savings is significant, especially the buses. You can get them at a subway station.

There are other ways to the airport besides the Airport Express high-speed rail (which costs a fortune). There is an airport bus that is much cheaper but takes a little longer. It loads up near the Shamrock Hotel, I think. One advantage of the Airport Express is that you can get your boarding passes in the morning and give them your baggage, then take the train later at night to make your flight, no hauling of baggage around.

The few times every year I stop in HK, I end up staying at one of two sister hotels in Wanchai (HK Island) The Cosmopolitan and the Cosmo. They are both located on Queen's Rd East. If you stay in the Cosmopolitan ask for a high floor room with a view of the race track. If you take the Cosmo, there isn't a view to speak of. Several years ago a  thai LB friend took me to an authentic Thai restaurant a short walk from these hotels. I have not been able to find again. But you probably won't be looking for thai food.

Both of these hotels are a short walk away from Causeway Bay shopping area and the above referenced Lockhard Rd.

Lan Kwai Fong is a $20-25 taxi ride away. Yes there are many clubs and restaurants there.

Changing money will not be as easy as in LOS though. I get to change USDs to HKDs at HSBC but you will need an account or else they surcharge you. Everyone takes plastic except taxis.

One thing you may need to get used to Stogie, hotel rooms are tiny and expensive by thai standards.

      Good Luck

I forgot to mention that the cheapest airfare I have found was with Emirates, check their website because their fares vary by the day. I once got a rate of about USD165 RT but now it has been about USD250.

Besides night markets and what not, the Star Ferry is a brief reminder of a throw back to yesteryear. You might also wander about Kowloon side as they have the walk of stars. Also, I believe they are still doing up their laser show in the evenings. There was a nice restaurant (Aqua?) in Kowloon where you could get some nice asian food whilst viewing the show. Reservations are recommended.

(thegame925 @ Apr. 23 2009,03:08) If you are on the Kowloon side you must visit the Gents Lavatory on the top floor of the Penninsula at night for a spectacular view

People sneak GGs in there so an LB or two will be possible.
            I'm definitely gonna try this!

There are some great ideas and tips here. Thanks to everyone for posting.

(Stogie @ Apr. 22 2009,21:44) Thanks for the tips fellas... Anyone been on the massive commuter escalator? That sounds cool... The Mid Levels escalator is actually a series of covered escalators and moving sidewalks about a half-mile long. It is the longest outdoor escalator in the world.

Now THAT is the kind of stuff I want to do!
                Stogie

The escalator is well worth a spin.  Quite novel, you basically go down the side of a hill through a highly built up part of hong kong.

On more piece of advice. I suggest that you do NOT take the girls near any p4p venue (like Wanchai at night). There are a good number of Thai Girls (and LBs) working the freelance bars of Wanchai, and they can tell tales of the amount of money they make (7000 baht long time).

My friend took a Thai girl to Hong Kong, and they stopped into Neptune's or Strawberry Fields (forget which) for a drink and she got to talking to Thai girls that were there and the end result was that it caused all kinds of problems for them.

I'm sure the girls have heard about Hong Kong and Singapore and p4p there, but it is best to keep any p4p venues off of the agenda.

                  Just my two baht.

Couple of watering holes with talent:

Hari's bar in the Holiday Inn on Nathan Road -met a gorgeous Thai lady there on the night I was waiting for Aubrey, I was tempted...however...

Joe Bananas on Luard St in Wan Chai has the best of the p4p and if they dont have ts which they sometimes do the street walkers are across the road on the corner near the 7/11

Long -very long- shot is the Wynn Casino in Macau if girls with extra $$ head off to double it/lose it on the tables..ie the Filipina escorts although these days HK is not as popular as Singapore, but they do like a flutter

I was in HK 2 years ago with my gf - she was questioned (very politely) at immigration. Apparently this was standard practice for Thai lbs. After they double checked her story with mine she was allowed through immigration.

We stayed at the YMCA next to the Peninsula - the views are just as good for less than half the price.

Disneyland can be done in half a day - Ocean Park is much better.

The highlight of the holiday was the day trip to Macau. Watching the behaviour of the Chinese in the casinos is a real eye opener.

                            SB,

Stay in Kowloon and plenty to do there for eats and drinks. If you have time for a side trip to Macau can be fun and lots of p4p there in the clubs. Enjoy

There are some great ideas on here... If we stay for more than two nights then a day trip to Macau sounds great.

If you do go to Macao, when you get off the ferry there are a bunch of FREE vans that will take you to a casino. Either take the one that looks fullest if you don't care, or wait for a van to take you to the Casino you want. No need to take a taxi.
If you're there for sightseeing, then check a map and see which casino is near where you want to go.
