Now I realize that most of you would not venture to Singapore for ladyboys as you can find them in Thailand for 1/5 of the price but for those who are stuck there on a layover or there on business, here is an update on the scene there from my last visit a week ago.
ORCHARD TOWERS: I have always felt that the women that troll OT were pretty much bar girl retirees whom were Mom's or past their prime. The only young girls are the Vietnamese. Now for Ladyboys, this place is a prime spot. As you enter on the first floor you will already see quite a few freelancer ladyboys whom are quite attractive and will go ST for 150 Sing$ or less. Most of the bars are full of women but Ipanema and Top 10 have ladyboys interspersed amongst the girls. Of course the mecca of ladyboys is at Crazy Horse on the top floor. The stairs/escalator leading up to that bar are loaded with ladyboys trying to get your attention and many of them are passable ladyboys.
Crazy Horse is actually a fairly small bar with high up tables taking up most of the bar with a pool table to the right as you enter. There is a small dance floor with a raised area in which the ladyboys like to show off. There is a bar to the back where a lot of the ladyboys like to get your attention. For those of you who like passable ladyboys...this is the place. For those of you whom like post-ops, this place is heaven. I prefer post-ops because most of the top shelf stunning ladyboys are post-ops and I have no use for a dick. The Lb's will approach you here but not quite as aggressive as you see in BKK. Most of the girls working here are trying to make as much money as possible before their visa expires and then they are back to work at King's Castle III or Kings Corner. The drinks are extremely expensive here and the girls will ask you to buy them a drink which will set you back 20Sing$. I talked to a couple of different post ops and they were quoting me 300-350 $Sing for short time sessions. I would just smile and bring them down to earth but many wont budge past $200Sing$. It really depends on how busy the place is. I always arrived there late after meetings so I never really inquired about long time sessions. I paid 150-200 Sing depending on the day and girl. Another odd thing here is that the ladyboys asked me to dance with them on the dance floor. I am a little younger than most of the other guys here but I just found it odd that they would ask you to dance as if it was a legit disco.
GEYLANG:
Your best bargain is to head to Geyland during the early evening hours and see some of the OT Ladyboys trying to make extra cash for half of the amount. Most of the Thai ladyboys congregate on Lorong 16 near the Champagne Hotel. There can be anywhere from 3 to 20 ladyboys working there. They will usually quote 80Sing$ right off the back but I was able to pay $50Sing$ on two ocassions. Again, I was with two post-ops and saw both of them later at Orchard Towers on different nights. If you are watching your wallet, it's probably best to just go to Geylang and skip OT at night. Singapore has an incredible amount of places to eat and relax so it's not necessary to hunt for LB's every night. For those of you that like girls as well, there are some incredible mainland Chinese girls working that are going down to $80Sing where they wouldn't even talk to foreigners before and would quote 120-150.
