Thoughts on The Future Direction of CebuLadyboy.com
Suggestions welcome!

First off, thanks for the many ideas and suggestions that have helped the site and service take a shape that is beginning to look like and become a professional service.

But something a lb friend said to me yesterday got me thinking about the direction and focus from a new perspective. Here's a summary...

The main target market should probably not be the typical regular poster to this forum. Most of you are already quite adept at finding lbs where ever you go, quite comfortable to go into the streets or bars and deal with seasoned hookers and their tricky ways. That said, I think some of the services we offer will still be attractive to some of you and we're more than happy to try to accommodate you where we can.

However, I see our focus market  more as the guys which would answer yes to these questions:

Are you looking for a safe, private, comfortable, no-pressure and no-obligation way to meet a ladyboy?

Are you tired of one night stands and looking for a serious relationship with a ladyboy you can talk to?

Yes, the newbies and the Mills & Boon crowd.  Seems to me that there is a lack of ways for guys who want to meet nice girl discretely and for guys who want to meet a real prospective partner.

While escort services are a way for discrete meetings, not everyone wants to meet an escort as they're seeking a more genuine experience. No offense to escorts btw, but it's not everyone's cup of tea.

And while it's not hard to find people to meet via many other meeting places online, there's a fair chance the girls you'll meet are the aggressive players who make a living telling fibs to gullible foreigners. And if you do meet someone, chat a  bit and go to see them, it can be very awkward if things don't work out and you want to move on. They may pester you endlessly or you may feel riddled with guilt for getting their hopes up and hurting them.

And another aspect is that many guys aren't that comfortable about approaching lbs in bars or public places.

I know the girls are more interested in meeting guys who haven't got 10 years experience plugging lbs around the world. That said, many of the girls are happy to meet with any foreigner who treats them with respect and is comfortable with them, so I certainly wouldn't discourage the punters who post regularly here, but perhaps it's the less experienced lurkers who may really appreciate the service most.

If you think I'm off base or have any additional thoughts, don't be shy to post.

Just a comment:  This sounds like a worthwhile service that I'll likely take advantage of the next time I'm in Cebu.  I'm not really into the P4P scene and never been to Thailand.  From your website, though, this sounds like a good time:

My Recommendation: This may not be everyone€™s cup of tea, but I think a great way is to let Raz choose a few girls that she knows well and who socialize well, start off with introductions at an outside table in Mango Square around 8-9pm. As an ole PI hand, though, I doubt the emotional maturity of 20-something transgendered gurls ... not a criticism, just an observation from experience. (I think guys are much better off going to places like CDO and DV --- you could recruit there? )

Happy to oblige, 'El_hefe'. I have found that in the "remoter" areas the gurls (as you'd expect) have less (if any!) attitude. When you actually go there, they are grateful that you actually came (lots of promises of guys saying they will go ... promises that rarely materialize). Better yet, they bring their LB friends, word spreads and you end up having a VERY good time. There aren't many of us (it seems ... ? ...) who go that extra distance. The rewards are ... delightful! --- I have found it to be REALLY worth it. Of course, I still go to Cebu as the talent there is deep.

I still think 'TransCebu's idea is a good one as many guys don't want or don't have the time it takes to search out the gurls on the different sites. But one needs many arrows in one's quiver when one takes on the PI ... ahhhh, but the hunt is such fun and CAN be very rewarding.

Thanks for the reply.... I've been over there a couple of times, with mixed feelings... like: "This could be better but how?" So I've been staying mostly to the usual haunts in LOS the last 3 years, but I am intrigued by CDO, Davao, Bacolod & Tagaytay ....but that's just by 2nd hand knowledge. Love the girls... mostly...

I wonder that I will invest a lot of time & money on planning & traveling to these places for a holiday & be bored most evenings.

All I can share w/ u is my own experience, so, of course, YMMV. By putting in some time to search the gurls out (DIA & TGD mostly), I found that my evenings were never boring.

I realize that I did not say anything about what you might have also been asking about(?): my comment re the emotional maturity of the 20-something T-gurls ... I've come to realize that our gurls have soooooooo much to deal with from family, friends, society ... AND their own heads. They are questioning themselves and are mostly (understandably!) insecure --- being intersexed (or whatever term we give it) is a tough road to travel. Not saying anything new, of course, but I feel that the cards are really stacked against a couple's (man + TS) success in a relationship. But I keep trying ... and I just feel the odds r better w/ a Filipina.

It would be nice to have contacts set up for meeting in various regions but a little tricky to arrange at this point in time. As they say in marketing lingo, go deep and then go wide. In other words, would like to refine the service in one location and then expand it if things go well.

Haven't been to Davao or CDO yet, so hard to compare other than a few I've met online from various places around PI. Seems to me most are very happy to receive a visit from a foreigner, even those in Cebu. Some of the more experienced girls might have met a couple, but many of them haven't and are pretty keen to latch on to any half decent foreigner who is sincere.

As you say, the emotional maturity or lack thereof, of a 20 something yo lb is often a concern, but some are better than others. No guarantees for an easy relationship, but some aspects can be very satisfying.

I've found the girls vary, just as anywhere in the world, as does compatibility, so if the stars all line up, then anything is possible anywhere
