I'd be up for it if it could be combined with a week or whatever of RnR with a few BMs.

I probably fit your description earlier as nothing is hotter than having a stimulating conversation with a potential partner, while I don't resemble Shrek too much (well, maybe first thing in the morning). I'm not in the Phils, but I could be moved to pop over - BKK is only 5-6 hours for me so heading eastwards for anything is always fun. BKK then MAN or vice versa. Triff!

Always fancied a bit of speed dating as it sounds like fun.

And pardon me if I seem a tad dense (and it has been known) but I take it Statuesque is the girl on the left judging by the comment earlier...?

It is a very original idea.
I am not sure it is going to work. The guys who step in must on forehand accept the fact that they go to manilla and come back empty handed (so to speak). If you participate you don't just go for the fun of dating.

I suppose the girls don't have much chance of finding a partner in phil.

Hey Statuesque, I think for guys on this forum the format should be: 1) He talks to them for five minutes each while drinking beers as fast as he can 2)He chooses his top three 3)Takes a Karmargra packet and short times all three the same day 4) The top one then gets a free vacation LT in a remote beach location and then marriage proposals might be in order.........I think sadly that this format would be the only one that works with this group of mongers. Just speaking for myself as there might be others who would like all the dating BS.

The minute your plane lands in Manila airport, we will have girls waiting for you to pick you up then drive you to your accomodations. Were probably thinking of booking a single hotel for all male members to reside for the purpose of easier transport and dissemination of information. So it does resemble a setup for a delegation or a conference.  

Were planning to have the ten single girls to be a controlled group. Guys get to see them on designated times only (which is generously scheduled, mind you).  

Wed have to come up with a three-day program to while away the guys time if theyre not seeing the girls. Another batch of group members (either those who have boyfriends already or didnt volunteer to be candidates) will take care of the free afternoons and evenings. For example, on Sunday morning and afternoon, we show the guys around best places in town that only locals would know. By evening time, dating another girl commences again. Wouldnt that be wonderful?!? Hahaha!  

How does that sound so far?

It sounds interesting! The good intention it's sure there. Whether will work or not it's another story. Since I'd multiple bad experiences when it came to gathering people for any sort of meeting, I tend to stay on the cautelative approach

I will be willing to go so long as you get a date for the Event up on the Board two weeks in Advance as to buy the Airfare to Manila.
