im using a imac 10.4 and when i use my web cam on yahoo messenger it keeps closing??
anyon have any ideas??

What brand of camera? Logitech?

It's a common problem which is usually resolved when the latest cam drivers are installed.

donnnny, don't know much about macs, but try a systematic approach. Try to determine if any other program is using the cam - you've already found Ichat and closed it, see if there are any more. If that doesn't work, then try removing the webcam as a device from your system setup (I'm guessing Macs have something like this), and then have the system re-detect and set it up again.

I think there are a couple of other BMs who use Mac, hopefully they can chip in with more advice. (Hey Stewart!)

Go to any IT mall, find the Apple dealer and give them your computer. They'll fix it in a few clicks...
