Maybe I sound insensitive but its not the case at all. I do care! But if I had to live my whole life based on how everyone might be sensitive to me.. I would not be living my life as I want it. So you can accept me and my flaws as I am or you can't.
Looks great. An excellent choice, I think. I just ordered a Motorolla DroidX phone last week. With its 4.3" screen it will hopefully be a good step in this direction. Still waiting on Android 2.2 for the "X".
(a) the competition e.g. Toshiba announced their new device at an electronics fair in Berlin yesterday and rumours are that there are quite a few manufacturers waiting in the wings, so I hope that prices will fall a fair bit in the next four months and

I love the fact it has a phone built into it. Being smaller & able to fit into a jacket pocket, what are the chances of the Galaxy being the new must-have accessory?
Rather good I would think...

I don't think that Samsung quite has the 'cool' factor of Apple... but it's not that far behind.
What it does have is features and more professional people will be inspired by this than they will have been by the iPad.
I'm a bit annoyed that the internal memory is only 32 gigs... but unlike the Apple iPad you can add another 32 gigs in the available memory slot. (STILL not enough though. I would like to have seen a 128 gig internal memory.)
The smaller size suits me better too. I can chuck that in my bumbag and take it every where... unlike the netbook which was a bit of a hassle.
The Galaxy Tab features a 30-pin dock connector on the bottom of the device; a volume rocker, power button, and microSD and SIM card slots on the right side. However, it's not clear if the U.S. version will include a SIM slot as rumors suggest the device may be headed to Verizon's CDMA network.
