Whats the easiest web site builder?

All,

I mentioned this in another thread.

I used Front Page several years ago to build the one and only website I have ever made.

It needs a facelift for a number of reasons, mostly being Mrs F is less than delighted with the "Girls" section.

Also it looks old and Naff and i have many new photos from the last three years I would rather use.

SO: help me out. What is a good website builder for total thick-heads?

The Easiest that I've ever come across might be out of date. It was Netscape Navigator 4.0, requiring 0 brain cells.

http://ftp.netscape.com/pub....479.exe (that might be the link).

Basically it was so easy, you need to know no html, you just use it like MS Paint, select a background, type text (in any font), click when you want to make a link or add a picture.

I'm not sure if its still works but there's no way someone can not make a website with that.

Speaking of dummies, there is a dummies guide to making websites. I downloaded it from avaxhome a while back but couldn't find the link again after a bit of searching.
Maybe you could do a search and grab that one foxxee...it's out there somewhere

not really it was 10 weeks ago...avax updates 5 to 10 pages of new ebook files daily so u need to go back... i did a search on the title of the pdf but no luck

I think wordpress is a great way to go. Tons of free themes available, quite intuitive to use and most importantly it works as a good content management system. Also very flexible and tons of useful plugins. I build all my websites on it. Search engines seem to like it too.

Microsofts Web Developer are not bad,but my favorite is Dreamweaver

But there are many other proggies for free .... depends what you like to build from a simple homepage to a large web portal...
