if you split them and use something like nero to burn to disc, just select burn as dvd movie from the smart start menu.
ISO isn't a format just a mirror image of a disc.
So if you are burning to Dual Layer, burn as ISO and the image will be burnt as an accurate copy of the original disc.
If you unpack the files and split them, the files should be MPEG. They can be burnt as data or, to make it easy to play in a DVD player in DVD format.
Probably easier to buy a DVD player that plays DivX etc
