This is an interesting thread and I see some of you guys knows quite a lot.
Recently I've been thinking to pick up again my interest for art photography, since I'm struggling with my art-by-brush current way of expressing myself.
Since I'm stuck in the old era of film cameras, and never bought a digital yet, I guess I'll struggle with the technicality related to pixles, digital formats and all it belongs to computers
I have recently been hanging on a photographer studio for a couple of days since I helped my friend selecting some models for her next fashion collections and had chances to talk to the photographer.
Of course he has an EOS mark III and buys his Zeiss lenses from Canda as he said that Zeiss in Canada makes better lenses than Zeiss in Germany due to a better quality of raw mineral materials (silica?) than what is available in Europe. If he takes all the trouble to do that, then it must be true.
He had a Leica M8 but sold it not long ago as not satisfied about the digital system. Great lenses but not a "mature" enough electronic system, so he said.
I don't think I'll spend almost 8000 USD for a mark III but I wonder what should I get nowDo only what you think it's good for you, and not what others think should be good for you!
