From what i have seen on this site i expected to budget the following

hotel  - solitare hotels 3199 bht p/n staying 2 nights pre book room
drinks
fun
food                            15,000 bht or 500 aud aprox

so what i mean is is roughly 7000 per night for fun and drinks and food

Which is about what is expected by the regulars here

One thing i first read is if you like the time you had tip a bit extra. Another is be polite if you do not like buy a drink to be polite. I'd say that 2500 was right for 24 hours.  If she's really good give her a present (flowers/small gift/500 Baht) and the taxi fare.  Obviously you pay for her food while she's with you.

Billy's right, 1000 baht longtime in Pattaya is not a cheap charlie price.  You can give 1100 which includes taxi money if you like.  Or 1200 if u prefer paying more than the minimum.  

I give my steady more but that's only cause I want too.

Pattaya is doable on 4000 a day.  Nice hotels for under 1000, then 1000 for your overnight, leaves room for shortimes on Soi 6, Thai massage, whatever.
