IF you fine a LB from a bar and the next day every single girl in the bar is trying to go with you when you return, you know you've paid too much!

Two questions. Haven't been to BKK in a few years, returning soon, and I used to pay 1500B for a short-time. Is this still about right? (yeah, i know, can get cheaper).

Second question. I meet a LB at a bar, barfine her, and get her number. Next time I want her I call and she's working at the bar. She comes to meet me. Do I pay her for the barfine? If I do, I just assume she'll keep it anyway and still the bar. In the past, I think I've paid 2000B and told her that includes the barfine. Thanks.

Yes and yes.

1 - A short time for 1,500 seems about right. But there are many variables...

2 - She will have paid the bar fine herself in order to be allowed to leave the bar so you should include it (and her travel expenses) as part of her remuneration.

Certainly rates vary. Between:
BKK and Pattaya
Individual bars - Pattaya BFs are normally 300 but in some bars 500/600 and in one prior to 10.30pm 1000
Service fees vary in Pattaya from ST 500 to 1000 and up. LT 1000 up.

As in any negotiation it is between 2 people. I have seen a lady ask a ridiculous sum - sometimes because she does not want to go with that customer.

My advice would be decide on your own budget and stay with it unless something special appears.

There is no guarantee on the service provided so check out what you want and what she will do.
If the service is stunning then you can always tip over the agreed rate. Make sure she knows it is a tip!

A lesson in Thai economics.
If they expect 30,000 in one month and she has 15 customers then that is 2000 a customer.

As there are less customers they just increase their fee. So if only 10 customers they look for 3000!

The only places I am interested in visitng as a first timer is Guess and Casanova. Can someone tell me what their average bar fine is ? What would be the usual short time rates at each ? Finally, if I am really happy with a girl would I be correct to assume that a nice tip should be given also ?

Bar fine in BKK is normally 600 baht & ST with the girls is normal between 1000- 2000 baht & long time depending on girl 3000 baht, but hey times are tight out there, like the world over, who knows wot some girls will work for these days , as Rossco mentions, price may go up & not down !
