Well, kahuna, if that's what happens when you overpay 500 baht for ST, and pay 200 baht for a new dress, then Brit ('Throwing the money around' thread) WAS right after all.......... for the wrong reason!

Best of luck - only slight friction in my experience to date, nothing like yours or diablo's situation.  My only problem came from butterflying between just 2 LBs.  So now i make a point of being visible in Nana bars with several

My problem does not lie in Nana or with the ladies that I tip an extra 500 baht or in BKK or anywhere in LOS...

It's about 1k miles to the east...

Some guys contend that the Filipina ladies are better company because they usually speak much better English than their Thai sisters...

To that I say bullshit....only means that they can order BigMacs, Kentucky Fried and tell you how much money they need so they can order more BigMacs and Kentucky Fried...

This is a strategy I recommend. Get a place to live that is not visited by ANYONE that you meet in a bar, the street, or other situation. Take hookers to short time hotels like the Thais do. Keep your primary residence sealed off and secure. EVEN if it means renting two hotel rooms.

It€™s well and good say, F & P, but after you have being going to Bangkok for quite a few Holidays, you do really find a some regulars and becomes good friends.

You do meet some real sweeties and good hearts, it€™s very difficult to say F & P. On a few occasions I€™ve helped the LB€™s out of trouble; and never expected any more than a thank you.

Doubtless you will have no trouble finding suitable company when you want
