Nah, mate, there's no doubt that they're right. Plasma provides more deeply saturated colors as a general matter and a significantly more dense rendering of blacks than an LCD. The difference in picture quality might not be all that noticeable to you in small sizes, but get up about 40" and overr and you really can't miss it.

Sorry to disagree but I would go with LCD over plasma any day and most experts are of the same opinion.

Well I guess this is another one of those differing opinions, however if I am happy with my LCD and you are happy with your plasma then I suppose the point is probably moot
