I do mean it.

6 1/2 hours is long enough for me in 1 hit, an hour in the middle suits me down to the ground.

I find the 12 hour direct flights unbearably long and boring, even in Business Class.

Welcome on board..lol But this day and age you haven't fly before..
Any way if that is the case, that you are near  stansted and london city ,you must be in North London so must be near to a Tube..By tube only an hour or less from Heathrow I know its sucks but lots of good deals from there...

Hello Nobby,

As Dave says in post #8 above some of the airlines (with newer aircraft) have individual TV screens built into the the backs of the seats.

Usually you have a choice of about 10-20 films + 10-20 TV programs to watch and normally some games too.
All this is under your individual control.  Also you get 5-6 'radio' channels to listen to.

Other airlines with older aircraft (Thai Aiways is one) don't have this.
All you get is a few TV screens round the cabin and you all watch the same thing.
They do have 5-10 'radio' channels which you can listen to otherwise.

I normally take a book with me and try to sleep as much as possible.

Am I right in thinking its a case of looking for the best deal at the time ?
then when I am on the flight take a couple of books,maybe somthing like an i pod and try to sleep?

What things are not allowed on a plane these days ?

I'm new on this site but have been teaching for 4 years.
I have a year 5/6 class in Rome. Challenging kids, 100% non-English speaking background, lots of fights, little interest in learning and I love every minute!

I'm posting here kinda to get a feel of what you guys think about LTRs with TSs. It might be a totally wrong place to post but I'll give it a go anyways - since I really wanna know what guys think...

Is this LTR thing very unlikely for people like us?

About myself, I'm 25, chinese and postop TS since i was 21ish? I've not really told the guy I'm with but I'm planning to marry soon with him and am now freaking out over telling him.

I'm quite worried as well about the career going to bits should he spread the news around.  Just to add I'm not so used to telling people about my past since I've kept mum to all my partners since the op

Do a search on LTR. There are couple of very recent threads on this, You can't have a long term Relationship if you start off with dishonestly/major deception. Your boy friend must be naive/inexperienced not to notice that you have scars in places that most other girls don't have.
