It seems like most of them only mention they're new hear and that's about it. No adventures, no experiences.
For me in any case the reason not to spend too much time on this forum either. Seems like less than five active members (thanks to them FWIW)!
I come and have a look and make a contribution if I have something to add but you're right. I wonder how many of them go to Thailand and never report or don't even end up going at all.

      Highly appreciated Escierto .

You, together with Rockheart , were actually the only ones I could remember without googling through all posts

Rockheart is an amazing source of information and font of wisdom where ladyboys are concerned. He has lived it as few have.

Welcome to the board. If you are going as a couple and you want to have fun with ladyboys, definitey visit the bars. They love meeting couples in the bars.

For safety, meeting the ladyboys at ladyboy bars is going to be a little safer as they are less likely to try and scam you as they want to keep their job at the bar.
In the bars you can inspect the ladyboys and get the one you want. Staying around the Nana area is best.
Don't let them talk you into buying drinks for everyone in the bar, unless you want to.
Be wary of picking up ladyboys you meet on the street. In Pattaya do not pick up ladyboys on the beach, it's dangerous.

July is very rainy in Bangkok, but prices are good.
Hope to hear about your trip.

              Thanks for the advice!

We will be visiting the bars then and speaking with the "mamasan" as I've seen pointed in other topics.

The rain doesn't matter much to us as we would be inside most of the time :P

I will open another topic regarding top LBs and group activities in the near future.

                Hi all.

New member here. I've been with ladyboys and western trans girls before but November 2026 will be my first solo trip to Thailand on a LB quest.
At this point I'm thinking BKK, Nana Plaza and accommodation nearby. I don't mind paying more for one of the nicer hotels if someone can recommend some place that they've stayed at recently. 3 to 4 star, prioritizing safety, cleanliness and nice enough that a girl is more than happy to come back with me to.

I know there are loads of recommendations in the forums, but I'm looking for CURRENT information as I know how quickly these places can go downhill if they aren't managed properly.

Also, a random question... Years ago I read on a forum that there was a hotel in either BKK or Pataya which had ladyboys working there in a GoGo bar on site. It had hotel rooms decorated in different themes and It was touted as being safer than most other options as all of the girls were known to, and vetted by the hotel staff. Does this ring any bells for anyone?

                Thanks in advance!

                  Welcome.
Staying in Nana Area is good. Nana Plaza seems to be getting much pricier so there is also the lounge style bars nearby such as Check in and Why not bars.
Most of the hotel reviews in the last 10 years will be largely the same. Most of the hotels in the area have fairly good upkeep.
Highly recommended is the Dynasty Grande Hotel which has been a top notch 4 star hotel for decades. I haven't stayed there is a few years but it is always good.
The price and quality is always good. The front desk is good at what they do and they really can filter the ladyboys for you. It's great for newbies.
Most hotels in the Nana area will make your date(s) leave ID at the front desk.

You are likely referring to the Penthouse hotel in Pattaya. It had fancy room decorated different ways, some with fetish stuff. There was a ladyboy bar open there called Obesssions bar but it closed many year ago. I went there a couple time for short time with ladyboys from that bar but I wouldn't recommend staying there long time. They are good for a sex tryst but not the best for long term. I didn't feel the place was that clean really either. It was a very interesting almost like a Dr Seuss design with the elevators and stuff.

Dynasty has a 3 star hotel in Pattaya which is pretty good but not as good as the Dynasty Grande in Bangkok.
In Pattaya I've stayed the most at the View Talay 6 condos which is a huge condo complex close to the beach and most of the ladyboy action. There is many companies that rent condos in this building which are generally privately owned. So most are kept up and renovated, there is many to choose from. Since these are condos there is no real front desk so nobody is checking the ladyboy ID like a hotel would. This may not be as desirable for a newbie but definitely good for more experienced pooners. Still you may like it better than a hotel, they have great apartments with big balconies with great views. They often show up on the travel sites. I was just talking to my friend about it and he has stayed there the last 4 years since I told him about it.

Honey's Coffee house has some pretty good rooms there.

Areca lodge is always a good hotel and really close to the shemale action. The recently reviewed P Plus hotel looks like a very good place for the price.
