(TEXASMAC @ Jan. 02 2011,18:45) Ok, I have read all 8 pages. I still dont understand the love for soccer ( football ), but what is the story behind "Ashes"? Is that like the " Border War" between MICHIGAN and that team south?
Although I think the poms are right now after that link. Oh well can't please everyone.
Maybe I sound insensitive but its not the case at all. I do care! But if I had to live my whole life based on how everyone might be sensitive to me.. I would not be living my life as I want it. So you can accept me and my flaws as I am or you can't.

Good fightback by the Aussies in the final Sydney Test just when it appeared that England's openers were taking control.
Mitc Johnson had one of his good days with ball and bat, the first session tomorrow on day 3 is going to be compusive viewing.
Splendid Test Match and nothing in it at the moment because England really do need a healthy first innings lead on this pitch.
My prayer mat is coming out for some rain and with it the draw

An imperious display by England and more especially Alastair Cook on day 3 seems to have removed the prospect of a series levelling Aussie victory
We are probably going to be looking at an England lead on first innings of 250-300 (it's already over 200) leaving Australia five sessions to survive however, I notice that heavy showers are forecast for the final day on Friday giving some hope for the home side to salvage a draw and allowing me to collect on that 2-1 series scoreline
Current Odds for the Sydney Test
Australia 25/1
England 2/5
Draw 2/1
Engalnd to win the Ashes Series outright 1/500

(TTChang @ Jan. 05 2011,06:42)(guydesavoy @ Jan. 04 2011,16:16) Will Collingwood fail again ?
Still a very very interesting situation in the match. Difficult to call, unless you are as patriotic as KatoeyLover (or as fortunate on decisions as Cook is!)
Just as well you have Cook who is playing superb cricket this Tour. They just can't seem to get him out
Unless Australia produces a hero or two next innings (no, not that kind..) I think England will roll on. Unless pentire gets his wish, and that wouldn't be a bad result eitherDid you exchange a walk-on part in the war for a lead role in a cage
