Doubt it. Just a great Test

You could just as easily accuse the Aussies of throwing the match with their batting collapse.

Finally the Aussie bowlers were able to close out the match

I hadn't actually considered it until I read Azza's post.

It does make sense. After the Aussies batting collapse on the first day, the odds being quoted for an Australia victory must have been tempting.

And given Pakistan's record of throwing matches, this one would only be another step towards the players retirement fund.

The one Australian batsman who kept them in the game, Mike Hussey was dropped 3 times!!! Then Pakistan captain Mohammad Yousuf gave his wicket away when they were within 99 runs of victory.

And of course, in the midst of all the triumphalism shown by the Australian side & the Australian media, no one wants to go looking too hard for any questionable bets being laid.

I think there has to be a 50% chance that there was more than skill that determined the result of this test match.
