How to see Ko Tao without flying to Thailand, getting infected, or killed. Funny nobody told me there were hotels on the island. Better if you brought a large backpack and left your cameras home. Just use the lighter cell phones and GoPro cameras. I think 3-5 days is enough then visit Ko Samui afterwards. Then fly back to BKK. I don't like long plane rides even if they're cheaper.

Cool video. I hope we will see the rest of his trip. It's the way I like traveling to Thailand : find a quiet place with beautifull beaches and pleasant trips to do around the place.

Ladyboy cabaret ain't his thing but I had already looked for more videos dealing with nightlife and ladyboys to complete descriptions of Sai Ree beach.
Here is a good video about Sairee Beach Nightlife. It's been shot both at night and in daytime. I can see that the price for a Thai massage is 300 THB. Hmmm. A little bit expensive IMHO. I guess that the cheap monthly rent in the second video above is due to the drop in tourist attendance since the pandemic.

Whoa! Those are great videos. Great beach, good vibes, young hedonists having fun, wonderful pedestrian friendly walkways, and great weather. This is way better than expensive Hawaii with it's Dr. No cops, heavy noisy polluting traffic, high prices, hard to find parking. No can do this, no can do that. No no no. Now gotta search for boat trip excursions to who cares where or what and skin diving activities. Bet they got lots of seafood for reasonable prices. Hurry up and vaccinate everybody and stop the 2 week quarantines. I need to get to LOS to be young again. Gotta get there because it may be the last unspoiled paradise on earth untouched by commercialism. Woweeeeee!

That there might be a possibility for a different destination. After 8 visits to Thailand I need a change of scenery. I should have about a year to decide after I get vaccinated. When I first visited Bangkok and Pattaya in 2012 there were lots of kids on Sukhumvit Rd. and Beach Road. Gradually the crowds thinned out. Last winter was especially bad with so many bars and store shops suddenly closed up. So time to go someplace new. Would like to try the seafood Andy Bourdain and Obama ate there. VN would be a few hours shorter from Hawaii. Will need to research, research, research.
