Wonder if the exhibits charge admissions to enter. I read last year several billionaire companies and their guests came in luxurious motorhomes and served good food. But, of course, this event must have been cancelled this year 2020. Mo beddah just buy a photo book from Amazon.com. Wish PBS would show a one-hour video of Burning Man.

I think they are a fire hazard. I don't think private citizens are allowed to use those paper laterns anymore.
In 2014 in Pattaya there was so many I thought they were going to fly right into our condo.

A leisurely walk through Pattaya yesterday.

Reminds me of the movies The Day the Earth Stood Still with Michael Rennie, War of the Worlds, and the Twilight Zone where a guy finds a pen and discovers it can freeze everything around him. So he goes into stores and restaurants and steals things. Click the pen again and everything returns to normal. So he gets an idea to steal cash from a bank. As he walks outside with a pushcart full of greenbacks he drops the pen and accidentally steps on it. Uhoh. The pen no longer works. Camera focuses upwards into the sky into the twilight zone.

Anyway I was thinking if I were in Thailand I might grab a cute chick and pack her on a Katana motorcycle and speed up and down every street in Pattaya, set a speed record on the toll highway up to Bangkok, and explore as many places I could while the traffic stays thin. Make a video of myself as the last man in Thailand. What an opportunity. With a little imagination I can turn a horrible experience into a rare opportunity to say, "I survived the C pandemic in Thailand". Got only 2-3 months before it all ends for most.
