Hahahhaa! See if any cops are around to ticket these speed freaks. I've never seen a cop with wheels on the superfreeways between Bangkok and Pattaya. I always land at Suvarnabhumi around midnight. Get in the taxi and watch the speeders zoom past you in unrealistic speeds. If you want to see the super fast drivers hire a taxi after 2 AM. And buckle your self-belts.

More on other destinations in Japan. Since I'm only 8 hours away from Hawaii I should consider reserving a round trip ticket plus another between Narita and BKK. Really getting stir crazy living on an island. Hope they create a fool-proof vaccination passport soon. This paper one is too easy to forge. Would like a plastic credit card sized one with a hole for a neck tether.
BTW it's US$1 against Y109. Not bad. When I studied Japanese in high school it was Y360. Then went down to Y80. Since I last visited on an All-Japan tour back in 1972 as a graduation gift from my wonderful parents I think it's time to visit again. Love that they built a system of underground trains, Makes it so much better not having to ride taxis in heavy traffic. Now to find a moderate rate clean hotel near the party/red light district/night shopping areas. For a month's stay.Comment
