Most annoying spelling error?

Lets face it, English is a bitch for spelling. A lot of it makes no sense, it's kinda phonetic but not really. There are fucking double consonants in weird places, combinations of vowels like "ie" or "ei" are totally confusing to me, as well as the ending of some words in "el" or "le" "al."
Anyway, I can neither spell nor type for shit, but I do the best I can.
One that I always seem to get wrong is principal/principle.

What really bugs me when I see it, is this random fucking apostrophe, WTF?
People stick the damn thing everywhere, seemingly without rhyme or reason.

"Apple's, two for a $1.00," makes no sense whatsoever.

Sure it does since they're macintrash.  

I recently read Apple makes 50% of all phone revenue but they only have 4% of the global phone market. That means either 4% of people using cell phones have money to throw away, or 96% of people think they just make macintrash!

 Most common spelling errors and grammatical blunders can easily be overlooked and forgiven...

...but 'loose' and 'lose' don't even sound alike! You have to be a right moron to get that one wrong.

Why did the Americans drop the "u" in colour, humour, flavour, favourite, and change centre to center, etc.? Anyone know the origin of this?

In the Collins Dictionary Colour listed both ways. the US spelling is on equal ground. Color

Due to globalisation i have to use" color" with Chinese factories and the same with many other words..actually i always defer the US spelling . Otherwise they think your French...dont want that now do we.

The English dictionary in ten years time wont be as it is now, even they admit that.

That's exactly right, because living languages are dynamic and therefore they are constantly changing and evolving.

Even the English spoke here in the U.S. is not the same as it was even just 50 years ago. New words get added, some fall out of use, etc.

Spain has an official language academy, the Real Academia that determines what is linguistically acceptable and what is not. I think France does the same thing. There ain't no such entity for English.
