Good grief, I have never heard of Fecal Transplant Therapy but I just googled it.

Amazed but not surprised is all I can say. The thought of having someone elses fesces transplanted into me is not a treatment I would wish on anyone.

I am sorry to hear of your plight Azza but in my travels, you are not the first I have come across who has had problems after antibiotics.

Seriously Paccie, although I don't doubt it 'worked' for you at that time, and perhaps for your friend.. However, a man of your undoubted intelligence must concede that further and fuller (dare I say more scientific) trials are required before we proclaim it as the 'miracle' cure

Yuck that's more than I care to know about much less try. Sounds something insanely outdated like the Egyptians believed the urine of a 18 year old virgin girl would cure them of diseases but of course there were no virgin girls to be found in the whole kingdom of Egypt.

I think the 'Academia' section would cover serious threads about health. It seems a bit much starting a whole new area of the forum for what could really be covered in a couple of threads.

But I am thinking of creating a separate thread for the PI.

We have a lot of threads all mixed in with 'Outside Thailand' which would make a good separate forum...

That's quite right. It may only amount to a few threads in the end. Although things have a habit of taking on a life of their own around here .
Just query whether people looking for health related info will know to look under 'Academia' for their answers ?
