You know the stuff for medical tourism, what shots to get, what's a good hospital etc in a different forum?

It just seemed to me that questions like that would be good to have answers to, to look up in an instant when needed and shouldn't get buried in fish box. For example the other thread about the HIV test results, etc.

I have thought a place where some health tips can be shared would be a great idea.

I have picked up one or two myself that will save everyone time, money & inconvenience.

Start it & I will post the perfect answer for travellers diarrhoea (aka Bali Belly, Montezuma's Revenge, etc).

It costs almost nothing, involves taking no drugs, or worse, antibiotics, costs almost nothing & works faster & more effectively than any product on the market.

And I have proven it works myself & is essential information for every traveller.

I should be charging you guys for it, it is that good...

I think a thread pinned in one of the Thailand forums or even the Academia forum would be enough for starters. A place for people to share their health experiences & a place to post health advice.

I think one thread would be a rambler..maybe a new forum section where we can group all the health-related threads...STDs, clinics/hopsitals, travel advice (shots)  etc

Paccie can put his homeopathy thread in there although I would argue that should stay in the Fish Box

I actually meant a forum/ subforum under living in thailand.

Like say if someone wants reference to good dentist/ or other surgeon, say someone wants to buy their gf bolt ons.

Or if someone wants to know what shots they should get before getting in p4p (since I've heard something about getting hep b shot to avoid it)

Would be nice to have a forum for all the stuff all together to consider for health issues. But like paccie said, a stickied thread may be good enough for starters and can always make a full forum later on if we have enough threads.

1 of the truly underrated medicinal fields in the world. Its almost unbelievable that Americans know nothing about it and health insurance doesn't cover it but it is truly great in my experience.

I think one single thread would get out of hand. Bolt ons and hep b shots in the same long rambling thread ? It needs a separate section where separate topics can be posted and easily navigated for reference  


We have the Sports Talk Forum, why not Health ?
