(JaiDee @ Jun. 17 2010,21:15) I like whatever is the easiest to heat up, throw some butter on, and get down my gullet as quickly as possible
As you can see, Alyssa and her friends aren't all that excited about going to the beach with me these days
Why the big hurry? You don't have rush out to punch a time clock somewhere. Enjoy those buttered pop tarts. Savor them. Take a bite, set it down, chew chew chew. You're mean older brother isn't sitting next to you to steal your pop tarts if you consume them too slowly. You are no longer in 6th grade where that overgrown Ben DeLauder used to steal the nice lunch your mom packed for you in your Jetsons lunch box, or your extra coinage for the junk food machine.“When a nation's young men are conservative, its funeral bell is already rung.”

I'm completely bummed. I work for a large family owned distribution business, and I had a big "customer appreciation" barbecue at my best account today (and one of our companies largest customers).
Our company CEO (son of the owner) showed up an hour late at around 12:30 and obviously three sheets to the wind. I'm wondering what time a person starts drinking on a friday morning in order to show up hammered at a customer event at 12:30?
I was embarrassed and it really worries me about the long-term future for my company if the CEO is a drunk (and who else would behave this way)?
Fuck.Making newbie mistakes since 2009 so you don't have to

I would be worried too DT. That behaviour from staff would get them dismissed. Coming from the CEO is just beyond the pale.
Does his father know he has this problem? Is this the first time anyone has seen him drunk? Is there anyone who can get through to him?
If he truly is an unsackable drunk then the company is fucked & you need to make other plans. This is a tragic tale on every level.Despite the high cost of living, it continues to be popular.
