"Invention of Lying" was really fun, but I'm a fan of anything Ricky Gervais does.

I'm going to see "Kick Ass" this weekend, I've been sending the trailer to everyone I know as it looks fantastic. Buddy went to see it last night and he loved it. On the other hand, he also strongly recommended "Transformers" so you take that on advisement.

2 films ive seen recently.
TYSON the movie.Fantastic ,semi autobiographical film of the life and tortured soul of Mr mike tyson-a man child led astray by his own demons.Shows what a piece of shit Don King is also.worth seeing more than once.

50 DEAD MEN WALKING. Based on the life of IRA grass Martin McCandle.Starring Ben Kingsley and Jim sturgess.Factual drama dealing with the murky world of IRA and Special Branch ,and the dirty world they inhabited.This is how it really was.

Am looking forward to seeing this film. Its about a group of suicide bombers in the UK. Only the british could make a comedy about a topic such as this. Its in cinemas May 7th.

There seems to be a problem with the 11 yo girl "super hero" Hit Girl who swears & kills people in violent fashion.

I absolutely loved it. Despite the "cute" trailers, this is an extremely violent and somewhat shocking movie, which is how I like 'em.

Seeing this adorable little girl in a superhero costume and purple wig (like a fetishistic JAV hentai character come to life) was fun, and then seeing her cutting people's throats, impaling them on swords, and blowing their brains out... how can that not be entertaining?

It's well written, the script was fun, and Nicolas Cage was actually quite good. He's usually more "miss" than "hit" in my book but his skewed, deadpan delivery (an homage to Adam West in the "Batman" tv series) was excellent.

I thought the ending let things down a little, but overall, it was a fun and entertaining time at the cinema. Not "Pulp Fiction" by any means, and as someone said, it won't win any awards, but one of the my faves so far this year nonetheless.

Me too . Its got some pretty good reviews as well , I read about another movie , I think its called The Infidel about a devout Muslim who discovers he's Jewish should be a laugh also

I watched Forest Gump last night for probably like the fifth time. Great film. Kurt Russel is very good in it.

Forrest Gump is a great movie, one of the best parables of modern times.

Its abit on the long side. Even longer when on TV with all the ad breaks.

Both of those look worthy.

Tyson's story is a sad one really. No more than others I guess, but how he was 'saved' then dumped again..no wonder the guy has 'trust issues'

Anything involving Special Branch and the North also piques my interest

Same theme as Gran Torino.... fed up old guy exacts his vengeance on the young. Is this a trend as the Boomers age, like the "tea parties" in the US? Could give Steven Seagal a new beginning. I can see it now.... Steven Seagal & Justin Bieber in "The Texas Teabag Massacre"....
