This thread wasn't started by you to discuss the facts, it is an opportunity to metaphorically bash anyone who dares disagree with you.

How can you say there is no proof to back it up? The CIA spent years destroying any trace of proof yet still there were people who spoke out. You can find their stories by Googling.

I am curious why the story about Jack Ruby, a very curious incident that couldn't have happened without collusion, should only make you laugh now.

It was all discussed in the previous thread, or did you not bother to read it because you didn't want anything to shake your infallible view of the US?

As for Perkins' great book, there are no conspiracy theories in it at all, he spells out exactly what the CIA have done to advance US interests. And if they can kill world leaders at a whim, they can take out the one guy who threatened their very existence.

You can find alot about the JFK assassination by googling, but the old saying springs to mind, you cant believe everything you see on TV. Well the same applies to the internet, probably even more so.

As I said in my earlier post, its all just conjecture and there is no hard evidence.

This is also a problem, TC...... Americans, and that is all I can speak for, NEED to have a better explanation than what is given to them, it is ingrained in us. I can't talk for other countries and/or cultures, but who knows, maybe they do as well.

But in America, people just can't believe that it is so simple, even if it really is! "Some loner took out the greatest president of our time all by himself; no way, there simply HAS to be a better explanation'' and then they jump through hoops finding those explanations.

It is the exact same with 9/11..... but sometimes the easiest explanation really IS the answer and we just have to accept it.

Ummmm, sorry..... I don't remember any list, that must have been one of the weeks or months I was away from this message board enjoying my life or out in the sun, but I am sure it was a very interesting cut-and-paste job from some JFK-conspiracy website.  Yaaawwwnn....I could find the same list or website right now, they are funny as hell and all over the web.

The key phrase, Game; "fictionalized speculation''.

Both were pure fiction and ''JFK''  in particular has done more harm to that poor mans family and to the newer generations of Americans who actually believe it as the truth than anyone could have ever imagined; Oliver Stone should be hiding in shame, frankly.

           Nothing has ever been proven outside of the FACT that they found a loner with an italian carbine who worked in a building on the parade route who fired 3 shots and killed the guy; all the conspiracies and connections to shady figures can't ever change that.

        8 to 3 now right now .... I really do wish more people would vote, I'd really like to see how many people believe what they see on TV and read on the internet and how many believe the actual truth.  I don't start these polls to pick fights with people or to be mean-spirited, and yes I do come across as crass sometimes; and as usual if people don't like it, simply  don't read what I have to say.  

  But topics like Evolution versus nonsensical fairy tales, 9/11 truth versus 9/11 fiction, conspiracy in JFK or RFK's killings, UFO shit,  abortion, death penalty, etc..... are all a part of common daily discourse whether we like it or not. If you don't agree with either side and/or  don't have any interest in it, I am guessing there are a lot of new posts in the Trip Reports section to check out instead.

Tell ya' what, Dieter...... they would be the most likely candidates, because they basically got the guy elected when they won the key state of Illinois for him in 1960, and by 1961 and '62 his little shrimp brother was turning on 'em as the Attorney General and trying to shut down organized crime. Man, were they pissed that the favor they had paid to his dad Joseph was not re-paid in kind and on the contrary Bobby became a major thorn in their side.

After his death they were happy..... Castro also for sure, probably Khruschev as well and of course certain people within the military establishment and the intelligence agencies who would have wanted us more involved in SE Asia while he was trying to keep us out; he was more of a dove than a hawk and you know those types of people don't like them one bit.

But while they were all happy he was gone, none of 'em did it; one lone nutjob did and while we would like to think his life meant much more than that sadly it didn't.

No one suggests for a moment that Oswald didn't shoot JFK. He was the gunman in the book depository who was arrested later the same day.

But he never was allowed to speak at his trial. With his death, all theories about him being put up to it became conjecture.

A full autopsy has never been released. Would it have shown there were conflicting bullet holes? We'll never know. Wouldn't it have been easier to have released the details then allow these theories oxygen?

A 1979 investigation concluded there was a fourth shot that missed. But without concrete evidence who knows? I am happy to believe that as Oswald was a trained marksman, he was up to the job.

I didn't automatically assume that there had to be a plot to kill the President. I came to that conclusion in the wake of so much evidence, much of it anecdotal, that Kennedy had made powerful enemies & had to be silenced.

Then, lo & behold, up jumps a convenient patsy, Lee Harvey Oswald, a mentally disturbed ex-marine. How convenient for him to do the bidding of the CIA. Or the Mafia or Castro or the Russians. Fill in your preference.

With the terms of reference being set so high by JaiDee that nothing less than actual proof will satisfy him, I can't see much point in arguing the same old stuff. Exactly where is anybody going to turn up concrete evidence now? I am on the other side of the world & all I am doing is providing ammunition for JaiDee to vent his spleen all over me & this thread.

One day the duplicity of the US government & their security organisation, the CIA, will bring them grief. It won't prove anything here but it should make a few people realise the ammoral nature of the CIA & how, what goes around, comes around.
