We all know that E will come out as the dominant language but this could very well because there are boards in other languages catering to posters in their language and who do either not speak E, don't feel that they speak it well enough or feel more comfortable in their own (language-)cultural environment.
Due to the maximum of 10 choices I had to bundle some languages (Italian, Portuguese and Spanish) as well as entire regions like Asia as I do not expect too many but of course there are the sisters of which many reside in the PI and therefore would go under English - others. Not having your own category is simply a matter of limited poll choices.
I did want to give the different Englishes more room. French would include not only French but also French speaking Swiss, Canadians and anyone having F as his/her mother tongue.
I am curious about the results but my intention is also to point out that this is an international community and as mentioned in another thread, non-native English speakers' comments or their usage of words often get put on the gold-sale much more.
It would be great if comments were not merely "What is this for?" or WTF ;-)
Perhaps WTF should have been choice No. 10 but which E is going to step aside?
If Bumpa or any of the other moderators feel all this is a waste of time and off the point on an LB-forum - although I consider it actually much more than just an lb-sex forum, then please feel free to remove the poll and that will be fine with me.
