Speak québecois (almost the same as french, just meatier swear words) but I get by with english, italian and german. Started taking mandarin classes last year. Don't know which is harder - thai or mandarin.

I have some friends from Quebec. Their swear words mostly seem to revolve around Catholic imagery--Tabarnac! Sang de Crist, etc.

Quebec swear words come from the time of the early colonist to New France/Quebec. The lumberjacks, being god fearing catholics, would pray and if things turned out good, they would be happy. If not, they would blame the church.

The french from France use sex, body parts and excrement as swear words. So boring  

What I prefer is the interesting mixes that can be achieved by various combinations.

Actually, you may be right. 5 marriages that produced 8 children, as well as one more born out of wedlock. Sounds like a typical right wing conservative Republican to me.
