I only hate one actor, and I think it is more the influence of my Grandfather than anything the guy ever did. But, my Grandfather absolutely hated Van Johnson, I think it pissed him off that a guy his age was making movies in Hollywood while he was fighting WW2 as a Glider Pilot.
Now that I think of it, I seem to recall he disliked most of the actors who avoided the war, but he had a special place for Van Johnson for some reason.
So whenever an old film of his pops up on one of the movie channels, my Grandfather's Ghost takes over and force me to say "Fuck Him" and click to another channel.
Not even sure I have seen more than a few seconds of the guy on film at a time, lol. But he is the one I hate, the rest I can put up with."I love the smell of Ladyboy in the morning, it smells like victory"

(El_hefe @ Dec. 21 2009,09:19) But Steven Seagal? C'mon... all those reasons you gave to hate him is why I watch every movie he's in! He's like a upended sofa that can walk...
(rim shot)
Actors I'm not a huge fan of:
Jim Carrey
Tyler Perry
David Caruso
Robin Williams
John Travolta (excluding Pulp Fiction of course!)Making newbie mistakes since 2009 so you don't have to

Cheers DK
he,s been wank ever since.
I also thought he did very well in Open Range, alongside Bobby Duvall, one of the greatest actors of all time. Next to Duvall, Costner did not seem out of place at, all in MY opinion.“When a nation's young men are conservative, its funeral bell is already rung.”

(Ozzie @ Dec. 21 2009,01:13)(donnykey @ Dec. 21 2009,21:09) IMHO David Caruso is the worst actor in the history of "celluloid".
Cheers DK
Kelly from NYPD is same same as Fellatio from CSI Miami.

Kelly from NYPD is same same as Fellatio from CSI Miami.
But if your talking about NYPD commish Ray Kelly & David Caruso being similar there's a good reason... they went to the same high school, the same same me went to.
Generally the actors I hate are singers who try to "branch out" & act. It's easier to mention the exceptions: Sinatra, Dean Martin, Cher.... Jennifer Lopez actually was good in Out of Sight.

Like I said before, I do not HATE any actors. Some I may not care for their work and therefore avoid their movies. But really, off the top of my head, I cannot think of anyone I'd avoid if I thought otherwise the movie showed promise.“When a nation's young men are conservative, its funeral bell is already rung.”

(El_hefe @ Dec. 24 2009,10:40) Generally the actors I hate are singers who try to "branch out" & act. It's easier to mention the exceptions: Sinatra, Dean Martin, Cher.... Jennifer Lopez actually was good in Out of Sight.
A very good and unsung movie from 2005, An Unfinished Life, where she was cast with two greats like Redford and Freeman, she did a fine job. I also liked her in comedies, Monster in Law and The Wedding Planner. I do not care for movies like Anaconda, but she made it bearable for me. I really liked her in Enough too.
Dean Martin too was a wonderful actor. I'm a big fan of everything I've seen him in. He was man who loved his work and enjoyed life and brought a lot of enjoyment to mine from watching him. I think he was a better actor than singer and I liked his singing. Cher and Ol' Blue Eyes were good calls too for singers who could act.
I am trying to think of any singer who branched out into acting who's work I didn't much care for. Off the top of my head, none come to mind.“When a nation's young men are conservative, its funeral bell is already rung.”
