I also liked Jennifer in Out of Sight. She's had several roles I liked actually.
A very good and unsung movie from 2005, An Unfinished Life, where she was cast with two greats like Redford and Freeman, she did a fine job. I also liked her in comedies, Monster in Law and The Wedding Planner. I do not care for movies like Anaconda, but she made it bearable for me. I really liked her in Enough too.
Dean Martin too was a wonderful actor. I'm a big fan of everything I've seen him in. He was man who loved his work and enjoyed life and brought a lot of enjoyment to mine from watching him. I think he was a better actor than singer and I liked his singing. Cher and Ol' Blue Eyes were good calls too for singers who could act.
I am trying to think of any singer who branched out into acting who's work I didn't much care for. Off the top of my head, none come to mind.
(El_hefe @ Dec. 24 2009,10:40) Generally the actors I hate are singers who try to "branch out" & act. It's easier to mention the exceptions: Sinatra, Dean Martin, Cher.... Jennifer Lopez actually was good in Out of Sight.
