Some have straightforward usernames, some don't.

I'll explain mine:
it comes from a pen&paper roleplaying game I played some 20 years ago - Rolemaster.
My character was the apprentice/ of "Manotirak", so I gave my character the similar name Manarak.

Well, mine's obvious too, but just to clarify: my "fetish" as it were is deepthroat. But I can't take credit for the nomencalture - Stogie assigned it (before he knew anything about me) and Stogie gave me the opportunity to change it.

I thought that as a Username it suited me/described me to a "T", and I was happy to retain it - I could not have thought up anything better or more suitable,

The Avatar came from the first time I wrote a post - it was lengthy - and I thought it would be an appropriate avatar for that which I intended to try to contribute to the Forum.

Well let's see here...started off with "Thpon" which came about as "TH" for thailand and "Pon" a thai version of paul or thats what the thais used to call me when i moved here in the 80's.

Then had to change it because a friend was sending shit from the forum to my wifes email....sitting in the company of "TT Chang" one night and i called TT "Dad" , i respect this guy to the max so i became his son "Tims Boy"...not sure if he is happy about that tho.

Rusty Nail (and the signature) comes from a physics lesson I had at school in 1971.

The only thing I remembered that year in that crappy class was an experiment we did... putting a six inch nail in a test tube half filled with water. After a couple of weeks the metal nail had oxidized at the waterline. The teacher asked us why the nail began to rust at the waterline and not below or above it.

I can't remember what the answer was but the actual experiment stuck with me!
