(Torurot @ Nov. 23 2009,14:20) Honolulu is still central to the rest of Ozzie's world
Perhaps, but not very central to travel around the USA...Hawaii is 2500 miles and 5 hours from California...Would make for some long and costly flights traveling to his clients...

And believe it or not, I think you'll find that it is more expensive to fly from Honolulu to BKK then from Los Angeles or San Francisco to BKK...

New York (Manhattan), San Francisco, San Diego, or Denver. New Orleans is a place to visit, not live (don't even visit in the summer). Seattle's not for me either.

          Best of luck!

I'm surprised Seattle didn't poll higher, its a very cosmopolitain city and a great part of the world, with the mountains near by. Yes I know it's in the middle of some of the wettest weather in the world but it's fairly mild year round. Good communication links and Vancouver's just a couple of hours up the road for a change of pace. After Seattle i think Denver would get my vote as well. We all like different things though so there's probably not one all-encompassing answer.

If location isn't an issue Ozzie would some of the Canadian cities fit the bill as well for consideration?
I couldn't give a shit how long it is until you're next holiday- I live here

Perhaps because it's fucking depressing there...

It is the U.S. City with the highest resident suicide rate...
