I can't help noticing that the people opposed to the death penalty have a far worse command of the English language than those who approve.

I used to work secuity at a large nightclub which was freqented by a few local gangsters. One night I spotted a plain clothes copper collecting used cigarette butts from the table where the faces had been sitting. Point being even DNA evidence is not 100% as it would be so easy to place butts at a crime scene of the coppers choice, not that the police would ever do such a thing

One of his aids said last week that he purposely let all the immigrants in as he wanted a muli cultural Britain... yes indeed  and look where thats left us, a totally fractured Country with no identity.

Ian Brady has been in jail since the 1960's for the murder of children in the uk.He has on more than one occassion tried to kill himself,he has been on hunger strike,and they force feed him to keep him alive-every day is a living hell for him-he only wants to die-if we had hung him years ago he would not have known the suffering he is going thru now-im glad he is suffering like he made those children suffer-i hope he lives another fifty years! They would have also hung the Birmingham 6,the Guildford four,The Carl Bridgewater four,Stefan Kitchko,and many many others subsequently found completely innocent.All fitted up by the police incidentally with forensic evidence .

As if Morality stacks up like a nice system of building blocks where it all nicely adds up. It does not IMO

Just read the Old Testament if you want evidence that it dont work like that. Some of the blood and thunder in there makes for a horror movie and yet some of the great and the good would rely on this as a source of guidance...of course they just turn a blind eye.

Morals are all in the mind.. they are not carved in stone...just electrical noise twitching between neurons in that pound of frog spawn between ones ears.

I understand wanting to take revenge on some one who has wronged you or some one you love. You get angry and you want to kill them.
I work in the courts in L.A., and when I see those evil vermin with the tats on their heads and faces (gang bangers) and I know that they've murdered innocent people, sometimes children. I think, justice means taking these cockroaches out back and shooting them the back of the head--no questions. Then harvesting whatever useful organs they may have and giving them to some one who can benefit from said organs.

I guess that's a normal human reaction when confronted with some horrible criminal. That said, I'm still against the death penalty. The reason being is that the judicial system is deeply flawed. Innocent people get picked up, tried and sentenced for crimes they did not commit. Mostly these are poor people who are not white.
There have been hundreds of people who were tried and convicted, and who because of exculpatory DNA evidence were later acquitted.
There have been others who weren't so lucky--mostly in places like Texas.
