  • The ASHES (2009)

England are 7/4 to win the series and Australia are heavily favoured at 4/5 while a Drawn Series gets you 9/2...

But it's at home... so I chose the third option... Australia WILL win the series... but only just!

Will be a great series, even tho the English have stooped to playing on Welsh territory in a vain attempt to gain an advantage!!

Your getting in to this gambling thingy now are'nt you

England shall certainly be much more competitive than they were two years ago in Australia when we were put to the sword 5-0
However, I reckon the Aussies shall win the series 2-1 with at least two matches drawn due to the weather.

I pick Austria. What is the ashes anyway?

I tend to think Pentire has it right (never back against the bookie)
Us convicts are on a losing streak in Rugby and Rugby League and Cricket will not be so different. 2-1 and two draws sounds about right.

However since ewes soap-dodgers got beaten by HOLLAND in the 20-20 not so long ago, its possible that we might flog ewes.
Now I am sorry I mentioned the rugby as I am inviting all from the land dentistry forgot to have a shot, plus all the sheep shaggers in kiwi land......

I had the misfortune to watch 3 of the 5 defeats 'DownUnder' last time out.  The memory of Harmison bowling a (double) wide first ball at Brisbane still makes me      And I enjoyed Ozzie's classic post at that time:  "TT .. your cricket team are totally fucked ...you might as well get back to LOS to do the same"      This time I'm anticipating events (on the field AND in my loom     )

I've got some money on    winning 2-0 or 3-0.  But I hope I'm wrong, and KP hits form. And that Ponting drops himself from the Oz team after low scores in the first 2 games.

Great to see one patriot on the thread though.   Sorry I've let the side down allstar
