Donnny that was a GREAT CALL about Joey Giardello!! When that fucked up movie about that thug Carter came out, I rewatched the fight and Giardello won at least 10 of the rounds. Joey fought himin Philly (Joey G's hometown) and the movie had the crowd booing and baying for blood at the end of the fight because they thought Carter got robbed-what a load of bullshit. Anytime Hollywood say a flim is "based on a true story" its 99% bullshit. Funny ebough, all of the inaccuracies made carter look like an angel and does nothing but reinforce the matra that blacks are just "victims" of the white power establishment. Fucking PC bullshit......................

I have seen a couple of one puch KOs that have, indeed, rivaled that of the Pac man's v Hatton and they involve Brits!!!!

1) When Sugar ray Leonard was up and coming he fought a guy called Davey "boy" green. Ray finsihed the fight with a left hook that i thought would take off Green's head!! Green was down on the canvas for as long as our Ricky!

2) Wilfredo benetiz finished one of his title defenses against a Brit called Maurice Hope. It was a decnt fight but Mo hope became No Hope. bentiez, who wasnt a big puncher, clocked him and knocked him cold.

Honorable mentioned X 2:
When Tommy Hearns won his first title he KO ed a tough mexican called Pepino Cuevas.
When Roberto Duran won his first title he hit Scotsman Kenny Buchanan (who was a good fighter) in the balls to win it.

BTW I didnt think anyone could beat Roberto Duran at 135 lbs but would love to have seen him and the Pacman go at it!!! that would ahve been a classic!!!
