a gob shite, does what it says on the tin,it spouts shite from its gob,in other words,someone has their asshole where their mouth should be,there are many people around to qualify as "gob shite"i myself have known many many,however i distance myself very speedily from these "shites of the gob" nowadays,tired of being "surrounded by idiots".
the appearance of a "gob shite" can be accentuated by the comsumption of too much alchohol giving him/her the self belief that any "shite " that they wish to speak is profound and true verbatim.

Well in the NW part of England the term gobshite the term is used to describe someone who's a bit of an asshole only a little more wimpier.
For example someone who would play football with a bunch of little kids so he could big himself up but wouldn't play with guys his own size because he'd be too crap
