Well in the NW part of England the term gobshite the term is used to describe someone who's a bit of an asshole only a little more wimpier.
For example someone who would play football with a bunch of little kids so he could big himself up but wouldn't play with guys his own size because he'd be too crap 
I'm hail from the NW of England next door to Manchester and I have always known "gobshite" to be "A Person who talks too much Shite" on a regular basisYour got yer Mother in a whirl
