 It wasnt that bad , lost £80 on monies paid for ciggies at Dubai Airport that with the money I would have saved on paying English prices it could have paid for my next Flight to    

I have normally been Flying with Etihad that Lands at 7-00am and theres nobody about, this time I chose Emirates that Landed at 12-30pm and the Customs people were a bit hungry today and there were several others "gutted" from that Flight too

But Hey, I know the Rules so cant complain and it was my first time being "nabbed", not that Im thinking of trying it again mind you (too much hassle)

Mai pen rai, I might just have to give up smoking instead

Its interesting you mention that, its one of mine too. I wonder how many lb's I can find that aren't smokers..

While the majority IMO do smoke, there are still plenty who do not. Both the ones I was with this past week did not smoke. My favorite overall Pattaya lb does not smoke and none of the 3 drink much if any alcohol. I can think of a few more non smokers I've been with, just off the top of my head. Still, I believe they are a definite minority. IMO, non cigarette smoking lbs are also going to be less likely to be yaba users too.

I find too that some are situational smokers. If they are with a falang who smokes they will too, but if with one who doesn't, they won't either. One of my original Pattaya favorites was that way. She had packs of cigarettes in both of the rooms she rented that I visited, but never did smoke around me. One could suggest some other falang left them, but nicotine slaves don't leave their fixes behind, even when it as cheap as cigs in Thailand.

One I was with last year, still works on Soi 6, was a situational smoker too, in that she only smoked when drinking alcohol. She spent 3-4 days with me and could go a couple of days without smoking when she wasn't drinking. But, take her out where she could have booze and she became a chain smoker almost. It was very surprising she could turn it off so easily when no booze was being consumed. Most falang smokers could not do that.
