I've lost a lot of family and friends over email abuse.

I've heard every joke ever written and the ones I haven't heard are not fucking funny.

But still some clown thinks I want to have these things sent to my in box.

I have more people sent directly in the SPAM box than I care to remember... so if anyone out there is pissed because I haven't replied to an email then there's a good chance you're in my SPAM folder because of a fucking stupid joke you thought I should read.

I love Google mail. You can filter out the whole world!

It's just my opinion. Never done a scientific poll or anything. Of the ladyboys who work in bars or are freelancers, which make up the vast majority that most of come in contact with, just going by memory and casual observation, I'd say easily over 50% do smoke cigarettes.

Anyone else care to weigh in?

My own observation is less than half, much less in fact.

For example, at Obsessions in Pattaya, a place I know well, the girls must smoke outside & there was only a handful out of 33 who did.

But as someone else mentioned somewhere, I am amazed at their ability to smoke once in a while.

So if the cigarette isn't costing them, they might light up because its free. But they can go weeks without one as they have better things to spend their money on.

Maybe that helps explain the confusion?

Well, to offset that, I'd guess at least 75% of the lbs in So What Bar smoke.

I was the one who made the comment you are referring to about how they can smoke a lot once in a while, then go days without smoking at all. Or, some can smoke or not smoke depending on whether they are with a falang who smokes.

I sat and talked to one of my favorites at her bar last night. She didn't smoke at all. In fact I've seldom seen her smoke at the bar. However, when in my room, after sex, she goes out to the balcony for a few cigs.

I'd say that probably 10% of ladyboys at university smoke, if that even!

The incidence of ladyboy smokers is probably closer to the national average in Thailand...

About 3% of ladies and 30% of men...

Ladyboys... My guess would be nationally 10%... those working in bars 20%...

You need to ask? It seems to me their mobiles are permanently attached to their hands. They do manage to not take them into the shower, or thankfully not text during sex. That would be the last straw.

My example was just an example, same as pacman's. Of course it's going to vary from bar to bar. His example of a low number he observed at Obs in Pattaya would not be a good cross section either. He may not remember, but a good number of the old Ezy Bar crew were constantly outside smoking too. Then again, it's just one small example.

How many smoke amongst uni students would not be relevant to most guys on the forum, since most would not be interacting with them. My original statement was pertaining to bar girls only. I don't know if I made that clear. I meant to if not. It seems to me the number was lower 7-8 yrs ago than it is now. Just based on my personal observations.

Also, I would not put a lot of stock in a study or graph on smoking pcts done by the Thai govt. But that's just me.
