Tailored suit and shirt

I can second that, I've had 2 suits made at Prano Fashion, both a great fit and just how I ordered, and so far they are standing the test of time. Johnny is very pleasant and easy to deal with.

I'll be back to see Johnny before the end of the year for a new whistle.

For fuck sake, trying NOT to buy a suit in Thailand is far more difficult.

To add, I'd say it is a fairly safe bet that everyone of you yahoos who is saying you can't find a good tailor or get a good quality suit made in Pattaya, has never even tried. It is just more fun to rag on the lot of them and paint every tailor with the same broad brush.

I'm not the suit wearing type, so I probably won't be getting one made any time soon, but if someone else wants to, more power to them. I'd never say it can't be done since I have not tried.

Mr Lonely told me a long time ago, that it is generally a safer bet to go to a Chinese tailor rather than an Indian, especially a Sikh who are some of the biggest con artists in Thailand. If you do go to an Indian make sure he is not a Sikh.

Dutchcowboy - i have used a place a couple of times at the bottom of silom rd bkk. The place is called smile tailors, the suits have held very well and still going strong after 4- 5 years! Do not enter a place with touts and go on recommends like Pentire has recommended! At Smile tailors i had 3-4 fittings which is a good sign, do not fall for the yes ready in couple of hours only one fitting crap! The suits i had made normally get good feed back as well! Choose well, and i personaly feel that if you say, used Pentire's tailor you will be alright!
