(SQUIRLY @ Nov. 15 2008,01:01) i only got 45 Bht to £
After George Osborne predicted a run on the pound i think Monday may prove to be a bleak day for some as its already lost 25% of its value and if it were to drop to 1.30 against USD we are certainly in for a dearer Baht.
Do international investors take notice of Politicians... i have no idea!. Well soon find out.
As Petrol is priced in USD we dont benefit from the drop in oil either in the UK.
osbourne may well be speaking the truth,a collapse of the pound is no longer in the realms of fantasy and i believe he has a right to say what he thinks.or do the worlds super clever financial wizz kids and bankers work out how their gonna run their banks depending on what a shadow minister says.seems like they allready wait to see what their 4 year old says in the morning before heading to the office to make market strategy for the coming day, thought the idea was, that people in the financial world had their jobs because they knew what they were doing...............................what a fool i am.
i work in constuction, but before i do any work today i think ill have a chat with the lump of cheese under my fridge and see if i can get some idea of just what the fuck im gonna do and how im gonna do it.

Still waiting for the word from your cheese, mate.
You Brits are crying worse than we Americans were when the dollar was at less than 31:1 a few months ago. At least now it's climbed back to 34.6:1
The only other ones I feel bad for are the Aussies. 22.05:1, now that really sucks.

"Inflexibility is the worst human failing. You can learn to check impetuosity, overcome fear with confidence and laziness with discipline. But for rigidity of mind, there is no antidote. It carries the seeds of its own destruction." ~ Anton Myrer
You Brits & Yanks whine too mutt. If you'd always had to put up with the pacific peso your "cheap charlie" comments would be largely mute. When you say 55 bhat to 1 quid i can only think "sheer luxury"! Perspective
