First about drugs in the netherlands.No most drugs are not legal to obtain or to posses.Ok I know the famous coffee shops. But now the law:
First dutch law knows two categories
1)hard drugs
- opium substances ( heroine, morfine etc)
- XTC, amphetamines
- cocaine
- lsd
Possessing them is illegal. More than 0,5 gram ( not much) leads to prosecution.

2)softdrugs
- cannabis (weed, hash)
- sleeping pills etc ( when obtained illegal without prescription)
Possessing them is illegal too. More than 5 gram leads to prosecution

Dealing or producing on a large scale has far more serious consequences. Although there is no prosecution when a weed user himself has not more than 5 plants in his home. When the police finds them they destroy them but no legal action is taken. Producing and dealing on a large scale can get sentences like 5 -15 years. Also a dealer who thinks he is safe here is wrong. Lately even some dutch dealers  have been extradited to the US for selling drugs to us persons in the netherlands.
So legal drugs using? maybe you can get away with weed but not with the rest Seven.

Now something about the dutroux case and madeleine. Your link gives a point of view but is it evidence because it is on the net? No my dear seven that is too easy. Maybe you like to believe anything you read on the net I don't. Also I don't condemn whole countries on this like you do. Just on one poor article without enough evidence. No far too easy.

I tell you most criminals don't stay in holland .Why? Many go to LOS. Or they keep alow profile. And for tax to stay in Holland. Do you know how much tax we pay? No,there are far more better places to save money and avoid paying too much tax. The same goes for producing child pornography.

Prostitution is legal? Any objections Mr seven. Prostitution is my opinion a job too. Not my choice but some seem to do a quite good business on their own. Also a part of the  prostitutes were able to improve their situation quite a  bit after being exploited for many years working illegal. Working illegal made them vunerable to criminal circuits. The still existing illegal rings here are mostly run by turkish or east european gangs.Right now many are being hunted and nobody should regret that.
If you ever visit Holland , visit a legal prostitute and tell her your objection. I don't thinkyou have the guts to do that.

Holland's legal prostitution is a releaf other than raping some poor girl in a dark ally. The legal soft drug situation, tends to control the abuse of hard drug substances. The Dutch youth today seems to have a 'take it or leave it' attitude as it is there at hand....while in other countries they cant wait to get out of thier cake holes at the week end, where it is illegal.

And I should remind you of a story that hit the news last month, where a 12 year old Yeman girl filed for a divorce from her 36 year old husband, after a year of marrage. Complaining of being raped all the time, that was legal in both law and religion.

Sorry but this is what dutch law tells any adult:
Any adult  that has sex with a minor younger than 16 years old can be prosecuted. Between the age of 12 and 16 years the adult will be prosecuted when the  minor puts in a complaint.

Sorry I'm confused, you imply that Tomcat is talking crap, and then you state its legal in NL for someone to have sex with a 12 year old as long as the 12 year old doesnt compain about it? He stated legal age was 13 which from what you state his only mistake was he should have written 12 years old!!

Bit frightning if you ask me... a supposedly upstanding western country allowing sex with a 12 year old. Maybe if your a citizen you could perhaps campaign to have it changed to make it illegal until 16-18 regardless of whether the junior party complains or not!

Worked with paedophiles for many years to the detriment of my own health.
Without generalising too much Mr.Glitter does show many of the classic traits of paedophiles,the arrogance,doesn't think he actually harmed anyone,no-one was crying or screaming so there's no damage done.Also,if you remember when he did the press interview after release from prison in England ,he spoke of himself and turned up looking his 'best' as though he was about to go on stage.
