Kirk Gibsons walk off home run in the 1988 World Series. His only plate appearance as he had injurys in both legs and could barely walk. Stumbled past Lasorda and put himself in as a pinch hitter in the bottom of the 9th with 2 outs.
Has to be June 1988 Euro Championships...when Ray Houghton put the ball in the English net..the emotion and excitement it brought to the country was amazing....!
