Good babe - and to get back on to Euro action a little disappointed that Cannavaro is out of the Euros. Saw him in Hamburg at FIFA 06 against the Ukraine and he was a class act then.

Good choice of players there Naang. I always rated Kempes (think it was the hair) and that scary bloke Luque that played up front with him in '78. Who knows if Peru rolled over or not (*cough*) but the Argies were a good side.

There have been a few legends thrown around in this thread and I have been fortunate enough to personally see Best, Maradona and Pele (although Pele was in a bar at the time and not particularly mesmeric on his feet) but one of the most talented I saw who has yet to feature here is Johan Neeskens. Very gifted.

Good thread this, as it is far from a science and something that can be debated long into the night over a beer or 16 in Guess Bar.

Not the greatest by a long chalk, but one of My all time faves , Paolo Di Canio, scored some great goal's for the Hammers

Nice one Seamus - again, all down to interpretation of what you like to see in a footballer.

The Celtic team that the late Tommy Burns had - Cadete, Van Hooeydonkey, Di Canio - played some good stuff, lost only one game and still didn't win the league.

          Football. Bloody hell.

I never seen Best, but all the rest i've seen play...Kempes,with the fab hair,i seen when he was
playing for Valencia and up against Andoni Goikoetxea "The butcher of Bilbao"...fantastic!! it took
about 80 mins for him to catch Kempes..but when he did it was well worth the wait

Royce Hart - Richmond Football Club
Robert Harvey - St Kilda F.C.
                          Gary Ablett - Geelong F.C.
Wayne Carey - North Melbourne F.C.
                          Kevin Bartlett - Richmond F.C.
                          Stephen Silvani - Carlton F.C.
                          Ian Stewart - Richmond F.C.
                          Nathan Buckley - Collingwood F.C.
Jonathan Brown - Brisbane Lions F.C.
Keith Gregg - North Melbourne F.C.

Oh! Sorry your all talking about that boring round ball game where there is more entertainment in the crowd fights than what goes on onfield.
                          Score 0-0
How exiting is that after 90 minutes.
Check out a game where bodies collide, people fly through the air, blood is spilt and there is never a 0-0 result and unlike those " pussies" that play American football no protective padding.
All include Rugby Union as a game for real men, not my fellow faggots on this forum.
