(daveduke007 @ Jun. 02 2008,17:59)  I have even seen Georgie Best play for Stockport County in his latter years and he was still a class above the rest
George Best, great footballer, the best to come from our Island ,for sure !
Another reason why we should have had a united Ireland football team as We do in the rugby !

KL, Ciobha mentioned Shitus Scrambles and Harry 'Oh My Foot/Leg/Ankle/Groin' Kewell in reply to "biggest pudding ever to cast a darkened shadow over a football pitch!"

Funny how Kewell was fit again to score for the Roos against Iraq at the weekend... must be the first time since World Cup 06!

Without any doubt, Malcom Blight was the greatest footballer to play the game. He won a Brownlow Medal and kicked one hundred goals in a year, not a bad effort really !!!

Yeah Kewell is a crock, I can't see why a new club would want to sign him with his injuries. He was supposed to be the bright star for Oz football but only seems to play a few games a year. Mark Schwarzer is our best.
I don't get it, is this a magic show?

Only 600 grand and he scores heaps (see what I did there?) for the Bhoys... McGhee should have got more.

Going slightly off topic (and if it bothers BMs, see if I care!) how are you darling?
