  • For the month of hearts

I was just wondering, since Valentines Day is just around the corner, being in a relationship (or planning to have one), which would you rather choose:
    - that you love the person more than he/she does, or he/she loves you more than you do?

(Hope that made sense, hahaha!) Ok let me rephrase... Do you prefer that you love the person more, or do you prefer the person loves you more?

A very good question Miss Statuesque

I always think that to feel love for someone is far more rewarding than
to feel loved, you will always carry it in you even when the are far away..

I am,by nature,a carer and only truly happy when i have someone to
look after, only when they are ok i am ok ...

Not surprised to see NF's response. Personally, I recently suffered through the lowest period of my life in the death throes of a long term relationship (with a gg) where my love was not reciprocated so I lean rather strongly the other way.

Don't worry, it only seems kinky the first time

I wonder if it's something I'll ever again be capable of feeling.

I now go through crushes that last a few days and I have a rotation of ladyboys that make an appearance in my life every now and then... but it's not love, is it!

However just recently I have been experiencing the stirrings of passion that I thought had long since died... I'll wait and see how it pans out!

As to your question? I prefer to be loved if having an equable relationship isn't an option. Truth is I love myself too much and there's not much left over for anyone else!

I think thats a healthy approach to building relationships, stogiebear. Well, almost. A person would have no idea at all how to give love to others if they dont even know how to love themselves in the first place!

I guess thats why Naang Faa chooses to care for others more because she probably has more than enough love for herself already so she needs to share it with those around her.

Good post - I loved a Thai gg like no-one else I have loved before (non p4p. professional girl not working in Thailand) and was living with her when I discovered she had a secret other life with bags of clothing in place in another guy's villa.

I was numb when it came to a head and doubt I could ever feel that way about anyone again. After 25 years of relationships where I had always been the one who ended it, the shock was having it reversed.

So I supopose, in a roundabout kinda way, I would prefer the latter option of being loved (would be nice to feel that again...)

Alright *sniff*, back to manly stuff...

Fell in love for the first time. Gave everything to the guy - pride, dignity and all. Ended up completely heartbroken *shattering glass*    Now I prefer and feel happiest being with someone who puts me first before everything else. Or something like that

You know S you might wanna try loving people without expecting anything in return? Real love is its own reward and it conquers everything - even the bitterness, resentment and heartbreak of having the person you love/loved not feel the same for you. Just a suggestion but what do I know - not much I guess
