But i'm not a ashamed of it, just won't be getting anymore tattoos under the influence of psychotropic substances....

This is pretty insightful. I think you are right in differentiating guilt and shame, and the reason for shame was in being a failure to her.

It's good to read everyone's thoughts. People who can slag off the bad things in life and keep their chin up are inspiring, but those who have shared some of the guilt or shame they have felt make me feel less alone...
