(ohnoriceagain @ Mar. 29 2008,22:56) Ah, retirement, something to look forward to once my kiddo is done with college. I plan on retiring early and Cebu City is where I've looked into. I need to live somewhere along a coastline, could never imagine living inland. And along that line of thought and since you mentioned South America, how about Central America? Belize, Costa Rica or Panama might be worth a look. I've never been to Vancouver but someone mentioned health care. Warmer than Iceland.
I remember your posting about Phils. Wish you can make it there!

True about central America. I'm keeping an eye on the countries you mentioned too. Thanks
I was sort of kidding about Nepal, but seriously I've read that Nicaragua is = to Costa Rica of 20 yrs ago. I met two Nicaraguan travestis in San Jose in 2005, and they were both rather dark skinned and biggest cocks I seen in CR.

lower cost of living than Europe
      Thanks!
I'm not sure about the low cost. Perhaps properties are for sure but I just learnt from a friend who was there on a scholarship that daily commodities are quite expensive.
      Might be wrong though...

Yes..plenty of ideas and places. Although always the same problems when you relocate. Things that you assume to be normal like getting a credit card can at times become problems

If Thailand evicted me I'd head for a small fishing village in Italy...

But Cambodia would be high on my list. That country is changing for the better.

I have no love for Thailand and I live here because of the free (and some paid) sex only.

                  Me too.
I don't particularly like Romans though.
I have plenty of choices in Italy but not so interested in going back.

yes..There are some nice places, especially in the middle and south of Italy

I understand and agree. I wouldn't love living in Thailand too.

                          Thanks Mark.
Yes, I agree with you. I don't think could stand Thailand for more than 2-3 weeks, although Chiang Mai is nice but I keep seeing more and more that cul-de-sac pollution problem engulfing the city. And that scares me..
If I've to remain in Asia for whatever reason, Malaysia seems better to me. Philippines..kind of mix feeling about.

Amalfi, Positano, and all the other small towns along the Costiera Amalfitana (Amalfi coastline) creates probably one the most beautiful coastline in the world.
